Hello Guys! Merry Christmas! How did your Christmas go?
I had a routined one. Other than the Christmas celebration at church, which was really cool. All the friends, new and old, I just want to say, it was a great year with you. Thanks for all the great times and food we shared. You gys truly changed my life, and made it better leaps and bounds. Thank you! :)
And to all my other friends, in school, and everywhere, Thanks! My life wouldn't be what it is today without you being in some part of it. I really treasure the time, however little, still you made a difference. It trully was a successful year for me, because of you guys. I eagerly look forward to the many years of friendship in the future, because I know I can trust in you guys always!
If there was anything in this year that has turned sour or bitter, lets burry the hachet shall we? Together, we leave the past, and embrace the future. In our characters and attitudes, lets strive together to be sharpened and refined. Nobody's perfect, BUT we must strive to be. Because we all have only one lifetime, we must make the right decisions, and make every year count. Not only for ourselves, but also for the better of mankind around us who might need our assistance to have a better life.
I shan't be mentioning names, because the list is endless. But I really thank you, deep from the depths of my heart. If you're reading this post, then it's for you!
Wishing you a Happy, successful, and prosperous 2008 too!!!

Hi again world! I'm back from the ko-ld land of Korea! It was near and mostly below freezing point there, with pretty much snow, and lots of ice everywhere, and KIMCHI, which we prefered warm. (yeah Majorie?) haha.
It was truly a fun time. Not much because of the place, but rather the friends we made there. Singaporeans! yes! The Choo family, thats us, and the Soh family, which we knew first, then the Ong family later, and a couple of other families. We left our parents to have their "parents talk", while we thoroughly enjoyed the fun going out in the cold winter night, swimming in the icy winter, skiing, eating, shopping, riding the most thrilling rides at the theme parks, and hanging out in each other's room at night.
Just as our tour guide "mei na" said, for us all to be on the same tour group, it really is "yuan fen" or destiny/fate. But I believe it is a God appointed opportunity. Because somehow our families have quite abit in similarity, we were able to click on pretty fast, and of course, each of us played a part that fit and brought out so much fun and enjoyment during the whole time, even till the last day, it was our 3 families, Choo, Soh and Ong that had to take the earlier flight together, and sat all together on the plane.
I'm sure we will be meeting each other up soon, for a Korean meal maybe? or new year. I will try to upload some photos, because I have 1007 in total, from just my 1 camera. I'll see. Just the nicer ones.
And it's so surprising. I landed lastnight and it was the 22nd of December. And suddenly it hit me that tomorrow is Christmas Eve! I was pleasantly surprised and not ready at all. But I've had my share of snow for Christmas this year! Christmas songs were almost everywhere in Korea, I've had so much more of a Christmas mood there than when I'm back for just lastnight and today. What's with Singapore? Where's Christmas!! haha. Lemme try Orchard Road.
Some pictures in chronological order. So, after touch down, we traveled another 2hrs30mins to Winter Sonota Island. Actually it's just the place it was filmed. but for these pics, I'll upload them later. lets fast forward abit...
...to our first meal in Korea, which our tour guide proudly announced, Cao Ji Pai. In english, it's Fried Chicken Cutlet. But well, she doesn't know Hokkien.
Strawberries. In Korea, they're sweet.
Night View of our ski resort.
And the Day View. look at all that white snow.
Nice pic of ME in the morning! I was all ready to go skiing! Good work bro! nice photo.
At the end of the cablecar ride, at the peak of the snow mountain, chill out at such a view! literally CHILL. haha
Some pros starting their ski from the peak.
Yet another view. how nice and cool.
Ice Cream on Ski mountain! nice combination eh!
Anybody spot something wrong? way wrong. some place I would never wanna visit.
Telephone booth with the Soh family kids.
And so we arrived at Korea's number 1 mountain attraction.
This is the first picture in my camera with all my whole family. Nice one.
Another view. How ever do you get such pictures back home other than photographing another's photograph.
We did a shortcut, UP to the peak. and along the way, we saw the sea.
Still, at the peak, we had to climb somemore to reach the real peak.
Here's family at the lower peak!
Nice view again. I said again because, there were so many nice views.
Some of us climbed yet highier abit more to another peak. And still, there was yet another which was the highest.
Another with the sun and tree. Take the time to look at the scenery pictures, and enjoy it. I'm sure you will. I've yet to find a use for these photographs other than sharing it with others.
Halfway down walking to the cablecar station, I paused, and this was what I saw. sorry to Majorie who was behind. haha. I guess it was safer for me to be infront.
And look, stand on the table, we'll get a nice shot of the 3 most gorgeous girls in our group.
We decided not to go to some place, so we waited back at the cablecar station for the others to go someplace else, while we entertained ourselves with some phototaking and exercise combined.
Shadows
The doors of the old cablecar. hi!
Yet another nice picture
We tried to make the mountain. That's the energy of young people. The adults just lumbered around. Imagine if we can harness all that energy and make it to good use combined with fun. So much potential indeed.
Yes, and that's where we get our energy. FOOD! Looks Good??
What are they doing at the corner? Simple. The wind was strong, and they were cold. haha.
But when we're walking around where there are no cold buildings, David's back will do..
And so, after a whole day of swimming at the hot spring park, we retired to our rooms, then went out to take pictures in the cool night. The christmas tree.
Happy new year 2008! with the Cinderella Carriage
2008 with a rock. haha.
Sitting under lights, nice picture!
Stealing bread! Muahaha. FAKE bread.
A king crab in the super market! the very first real one I saw! after watching so much on Discovery channel or was it national geographic.
Arcades never fail to bring some fun. Bishi bashi also there in Korea.
Serious aiming. And that's the last picture of the night. We all went back to sleep the few hours and then it was the next day!
So now, this is until day 4. the other 3 days, phew, later ok. haha. enjoy these pics first! I hope you do!
And Merry Christmas! Wishing all a Cool White Happy Christmas!
You won! 7:26 PM

Elvis Presley. Such an amazing man, in his music. To think he was a christian, and lived a sub-normal childhood. God must have placed something deep within him, that seed of potential, gifting and anointing, to carry out probably his destiny in his lifetime, that till today, his music and singing still never fails to impress.
Here's a video on Elvis singing Amazing Grace.
A much lighter and happier song. Let it be me.
and Such a Night
Yesterday
Christmas moods.. white christmas...
O Come All Ye Faithful.
Winter Wonderland
If everyday could be just like christmas. i like some of the pictures inside. and also the song. haha. i've only heard it 2 times, but i think it's one of the best christmas songs.
Peace in the valley
HAHAH. this one is hilarious. apparently he forgot his lyrics, and joked about it, and still, he sang his heart out and wowed the audience. so much for the king of rock, he still was a human inside. What a humble man he was. And actually, this was supposedly also his last concert. he died shortly after.
Another christian song, Take My Hand, Precious Lord.
Sweet Sweet Spirit :)
He touched me! remember the song we sang at Bennny Hinn's?!!
And "How Great Thou Art"?!!!
some other nice gospel songs.
Solitaire, remember the song Clay Aiken sang on American idol?
Below is a chunk from Wikipedia about Elvis's younger days. You'll realise that he was such an ordinary, if not below ordinary kid. But did that all matter later in his life?
"Presley's father, Vernon (April 10, 1916–June 26, 1979), had several low-paying jobs, including sharecropper and truck driver. His mother, Gladys Love Smith (April 25, 1912–August 14, 1958) worked as a sewing machine operator. They met in Tupelo, Mississippi, and eloped to Pontotoc County where they married on June 17, 1933.[3][4]
Presley was born in a two room house, built by his father, in East Tupelo. He was the second of identical twins—his brother was stillborn and given the name Jesse Garon. He grew up as an only child and "was, everyone agreed, unusually close to his mother."[5] The family lived just above the poverty line and attended the Assembly of God church.[6]b Vernon has been described as "a malingerer, always averse to work and responsibility."[7] In 1938, he was jailed for an eight dollar check forgery. During his absence, his wife, described as "voluble, lively, full of spunk",[8] lost the family home.[9] Priscilla Presley recalls her as "a surreptitious drinker and alcoholic."[10]
Presley was bullied at school; classmates threw "things at him—rotten fruit and stuff—because he was different... quiet and he stuttered and he was a mama's boy."[11]
At age ten, he made his first public performance in a singing contest at the Mississippi-Alabama Fair and Dairy Show. Dressed as a cowboy, the young Presley had to stand on a chair to reach the microphone and sang Red Foley's "Old Shep." He won second prize.[12]
In 1946, Presley got his first guitar.[13] In November 1948, the family moved to Memphis, Tennessee, allegedly because Vernon—in addition to needing work—had to escape the law for transporting bootleg liquor.[9][14] In 1949, they lived at Lauderdale Courts, a public housing development in one of Memphis' poorer sections. Presley practiced playing guitar in the laundry room and also played in a five-piece band with other tenants.[15] Another resident, Johnny Burnette, recalled, "Wherever Elvis went he'd have his guitar slung across his back... [H]e'd go in to one of the cafes or bars... Then some folks would say: 'Let's hear you sing, boy.'"[16] Presley attended L. C. Humes High School, but fellow students apparently viewed the young singer's performing unfavorably: One recalled that he was "a sad, shy, not especially attractive boy" whose guitar playing was not likely to win any prizes. Many of the other children made fun of him as a 'trashy' kind of boy playing 'trashy' hillbilly music."[17]
Presley occasionally worked evenings to boost the family income.[18] He began to grow his sideburns and dress in the wild, flashy clothes of Lansky Brothers on Beale Street.[19] He stood out, especially in the conservative Deep South of the 1950s, and was mocked and bullied for it.[15] Despite his unpopularity, he was a contestant in his school's 1952 "Annual Minstrel Show"[15] and won by receiving the most applause and thus an encore (he sang "Cold Cold Icy Fingers" and "Till I Waltz Again With You").[16]
After graduation, Presley was still rather shy, a "kid who had spent scarcely a night away from home".[20] His third job was driving a truck for the Crown Electric Company. He began wearing his hair longer with a "ducktail"—the style of truck drivers at that time.[21]"
It was an enlightening trip, so as was it revelating and rejuvenating. Back and armed with knowledge for wisdom and freedom and power. What a nice place that was, supernaturally.
