thrown into disillusionment again.
oh no..
its time again to hang on to Jesus alone...
i could walk on the PIE from tuas to changi this very moment, just staring ahead, not bothering about the vehicles, not bothering when i'll arrive, and how i'd get back home..just walking..probably i'd just turn around when i arrive at changi and go back to tuas..
but then of cos...
i won't do it.
hahha...
just when i thought life good, paths were set, all ready to go into a new gear, i was plucked out of my comfort, and cast right into the middle of another thorn bush maze to figure my way out, all over again.
its hard to say if i'd ever find my way out this time..
but i know, and i expect the best, expect to emerge successful, to run through till the end of the race, and win the prize.
I do not need the praises of people anymore, i'm doing it for God, and God alone.
I need to discover the new vision, catch hold onto it, and move on with it.
The future is in God's hands, and mine.
I can't die, i can't give up, i will do it, and finish it glory!

Well, thats because boss has an overseas guest to pick up and entertain today.
So i'm as good as free! haha!!

It was a good experience of the trading world, and i learnt quite abit.
its definitely a nice place to be compared to school.
i mean really.. your job has to be your passion..
if not your life is like wasted away.
and you'll just be bored everyday
just thinking about your pay
you'll only be in disaster's way..
wow..rhymes huh..lol

Anyways... its back to school for me.. next week lessons resume..
And next week i will be taking my driving test.

so lets study the word patience and learn its accurate meaning.
looking in the Longman Active Study Dictionary..

Patience = The ability to wait or to deal with difficulties, for a long time without getting annoyed.

looks theres much more to patience..
you can't get annoyed.. haha.. if not it isn't patience! lol...

Patience is the capacity to endure hardship, difficulty, or inconvenience without complaint.
Patience emphasizes calmness, self-control, and the willingness or ability to tolerate delay: Our patience will achieve more than our force (Edmund Burke).

so.. Patience.. ya.. its more than just waiting for a late friend... its really an attitude, a Fruit of the Spirit, a virtue that makes up a Strong and Great Character.

and dun blame and curse God when things start to go wrong, but instead, look for a solution, and solve the problem. Take it as an opportunity to learn and grow by taking up the challenge and resolving it in the best way.

another thing.. people who are problemless seem like they're having the best life and we think that they're the best people, thats why they have no problems..

but in fact, the opposite is true.
so don't just keep opting or a better life and circumstances, but choose to be someone who can sove problems, a man with wisdom!

and if you should think you don't have enough wisdom? good, you're humble.. haha..
and Humility is great! don't look down and despise it!

- when you humble yourself, you'll be exalted.

and lacking wisdom?

On my birthday i went to Sentosa.. yea....sentosa island..
Dad drove us all in.. 2 bucks per person..and we paid a total of 12 bucks... cos the car is a person too huh..
we went to this dunno wad seaside restaurant..just near the entrance..
styloh huh.. Steamboat buffet, personal pot, no free drinks, good ambience, its a renovated jetty..so we're literally above the water..
the cost of 1 person? $15. total cost? $75.
and the value of the food there? $1 per person..y? cos it just has to cost cheaper than coffeeshop food!..
THe food there is the WORST... i've never paid so much for such horrible .. and i mean HORRIBLE food..
the rice...it was all slightly drier that fresh cooked rice..it has clearly been there for a long time..even so that about 20% of the rice.. has become.. crispy...and some in-between crispy and soft.. hard.. HORRIBLE...
Same for the Chicken Rice and the Spaghetti noodles..
The Spaghetti sauce...eww...it was so watery... no class..
the supposedy curry too...
cream of chicken soup? no standard.. worse than that which is cooked at home..
steamboat soup? they used Maggi chicken stock... which is so.. short cut.. cheapskate.. can't they just use something better...
i didn't eat everything..so thats all i had to comment on the food..
the service..
man..the people working there.. they didn't have a bad attitude or what.. but were just very... i dunno.. coffeeshop character.. they dun treat u like what u paid for..$15 a person.. they dun smile..bo chap...and they use the wierdest thing to clean the tables.. a brush and a dustpan..

2 things..
1..when i put some steamoat soup into the chicken rice... it tasted awesome.. but what a crappy combi..
2..the watermelon. i loved is till then end..i was still stealing pieces before i left...it was cold, juicy and sweet! haha..

well..i'll never go back there unless the food gets better... but how'd i know unless i go back?...
i think that means i'll just never go back...
but i'll just keep telling others about
my experience...

anyway, dad drove us around sentosa for fun.. we went to beach, hill, and all that..
we came to costa sands resorts.first time i've been there..
i think if i ever book a chalet again, it'll be there. i've decided..haha..
wanted to book for w330..but well.. u guys have midyears.. we'll do other things then yea..
ice skating...hahha

well... about the restaurant.. we decided to get back our value for money..by? playing with fire.. hahaa..as u can see in the below pics.. hee hee...

This is the fire pot which contains the fire... i removed the lid...
i also added cream of mushroom soup, which made the hard fuel inside become watery.. probably cos of the salt..
and also 2 pieces of white chicken skin.. hee hee... an my flame became special for the birthday boy.. there were small sparks within the flame!! cool!!!

see..this is my chair... double sized, just like a king.. not cos i have too big a butt ok...

My beloved cell celebrated with me after service, gave me a beautiful card and a present..
i had enough of cake.. i told my family not to buy me any.. haha...
and present? my parents asked me what i wanted.. and i really wasnt interested to get anything..i told my dad.. "dun want present" hahaha.
i din feel much different too anyway..lol...
of cos i did get 2 angpows from my granny and great granny..

that was my birthday, 2006.. haha.. and a belated present on its way..my driving license??? hahahaha..yes...

woah..wad a day..
i was left at home to work for the past 2 days, to complete the brochure for my boss..
but i was so occupied with resting and other things that.... yea..u guessed it.. i didn't touch a bit of it!
it wasnt till about 11pm lastnight i panicked and started working on it..
as a result, i slept at 3am..
alarm set to go at 730 am..
i woke up!
just to off the alarm and resume sleep duty for another hour and a half..
Thus.... u guessed it again.. smart!
i was late to meet my boss to go to office...
well, i have a very good daddy. he drove me there..haha
and in the car, there was pst. Phil's audio sermon on Titus 1:5. it was awesome!
i couldn't bear to leave the car when we reached..

My Liason officer came to office to visit today..my heart was beating.. pop pop pop pop.. when they were talking bout me.. stress..
At the office, i spent the day looking for mirrors.. and carrying them from the shelf outside to the office, cleaning them, wrapping them in plastic..to prepare for the upcoming exhibition..
stupid plastic.. boss said.. use this!!.. okay fine.. then after polishing till it sparkles, i wrap it..
wah..looks so nice...
and after cleaing and wrapping 5, i took out 1..for i can't remember wad reason...
and...guess what.. the plastic left sticky prints all over the mirrors!!!!! arrgh!!!
and i had to take all out, clean them all, and re-wrap with another type of plastic..
and then put them all into the packing boxes again...

and we left office the latest so far.. 630! usually its 5..

just before that, i recieved Daniel's sms that he PASSED HIS DRIVING TEST!!
CONGRATS!!
boy was i excited!!! haha...
then a depressing sms from a friend...which i chose to not take a second look cos i was already only half alive..
then all of a sudden.. i got nervous..my driving test is in 2 weeks time!!

by then, my heart was...
1. tired
2. happy
3. stressed
4. physically worn
5. excited
6. nervous and anxious.

woah...my heart almost cannot take it liao...

in the car i felt so..eeky..my heart felt like..it might have stopped of exhaustion..
so i was reminded of the verse..

"be anxious for nothing, but in prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving.. Let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God which surpassees all understanding will guard your Hearts by Christ Jesus!"

so i was praying in the back seat with a weird feeling heart...

and it was just slightly starting to get better when...

we were driving along the right lane of a 2 lane road.. a bus stopped a distance ahead of us at the busstop.
behind it was this blue lorry..
and Just as we were about to pass them, THE LORRY DROVE OUT!
WHAT ARE HIS MIRRORS FOR!!! it was an indian driver, with workers at the back.
boss horned, jamed the brakes, swerved to the right, where there were metal railings on the right.. all in the span of 1 second..
Thank God the lorry stopped..
and we cruised through that constricted road safely..
Phew i know.. but i was in a shock...

now look at my heart..
it was so "aching" that it might have thought of giving up beating that moment..

the rest of the journey, every car that i saw changing lane, i would think it was gonna hit us...ahh.. my heart..poor thing..

i looked to God.. and managed to find His presence..
and after alighting from the car, i could hardly walk straight, and was abit lost...

haha.i made it to the bus stop.. got into the bus, put on my mp3, and listened to christian music..

woah..what a day...extreme emotional rollercoaster..
Thank God for everything..i'm still alive...

okay..enough of that story...now the good news..

I heard from rachel she has a new blogger BLOG!! something like...

Seow Li had a friend who had a friend who sold multimedia cards.(these are for nokia handphones) so after consulting dad, he said okay. mom wants one, sis wants one too.. thats 3 512mb cards...costing more than hundred..

and mom drove us to chc Jurong yesterday to buy a cd from attributes, and we ended up buying about $234.26!! okay..i remembered cos it was nearly 23456.. but i got 2 new books!

i had driving lesson after that. and, Mr Seow, the best driving instructor!! he taught me for twice before, and i immediately requested for him for all my other lessons.. he's been teaching for about 20 plus years? and that lesson, i learnt what i needed to learn.. he told me clearly..
he is truelly one who is concerned about his student's learning..
He's Great!

i finally decided that i would install Nokia PC Suite... i hesitated at first cos it drastically slowed down my PC.. i gave it a try on my laptop.. it's better here..
with that i could synchronise my calendar and contacts.
I've got a new mail from My dad. a company email address which i can use in microsoft outlook! and hotmail has changed to a special mailbox format..just like outlook.. its BETA.. anyway..
after synchronising, i read my sms from the laptop... then realised i could reply from there!! now i don't need to tyoe with that mini keypad on my fone, or get scolded by boss for smsing "too much"..
and this morning.. at office.. i tried a special function of the nokia suite.
Connect to the internet using my hp!! haha!! it was connectd at 260+kbps! which is faster than my boss's office dial-up connection.
wee!! now i can surf anywhere! as long as there's handphone reception!!
HAHAHA!!!

This is Ah Boon, my friend now. he's a relative of the boss who owns this place. He's the housekeeper or something..here he's throwing black rolls of cables up to the shelf.
And boy is the warehouse messy. haha. not to mention there are rats too!! the rats there chew of the cap of sauce bottles. so we've to use plastic bags to cover them.

These are the cables he's throwing. they look small right, but they're actually very heavy. each coil is about 2kg.

I’m in office now.
Boy am I tired.
I keep closing my eyes,
Dosing off.

I slept past 12 last night because I was spending the first part of my birthday in the Presence of God.
I sang and worshipped with the guitar.

And there’s this song which goes, “you ask me who do I, say that you are and I, say that you are the Christ, son of the living God..”

Its so beautiful! I started singing from the beginning by memory, then after the chorus and I wanted to sing the beginning, I couldn’t remember it anymore! I shall find it in guitar4christ.

When the clock struck 12, my sms alert rang. Those were from 2 good friends wishing me happy birthday. Few more came later in the morning.

Its already 2.48pm now.

Great! Ah Boon just called us down for coffee break. Haha! Away from this office. Soon after coffee, the time would be about 3.45pm. that’s 1hr 15mins before I can go home!!

I really don’t work long hours. I reach office daily at 10am, lunch from 1130 – 1230, coffee time from 3pm – 3.45pm, leave for home at 5pm. That will be 5hr 15mins of working time only! No wonder my days pass so quickly.

Today’s my birthday. My cell celebrated with me yesterday after service together with Jiasiang. His birthday is 14th April.
We had a small/medium cake, which was later left to me who obviously couldn’t finish it single handedly. Isaac helped. Thanks. Haha.
I got a lovely card made personally by Winnie. She spent the whole night up finishing it!

lastnight i just was thinking..
i feel like God is breaking away pieces of my heart and "fleshly deires" bit by bit..
just like breaking off corners of a digestive biscuit..
untill theres only one thing left,
the core of my heart,

then God can start to use me..
