Wahaha!!! today i went for my first driving lesson. i was driving the car to n fro, made many many u-turns, 3point turns, stunt skidding..kidding lah..haha..but it was fun, and it actually took up alot of brain work.

to MOVE OFF, have to step clutch, engage gear 1, release hand brake, see front mirror, have to see side mirror, have to see blind spot, have to signal, then have to step accelerator abit, then release clutch halfway to find biting point, then it will move, then after it move, u let go cluitch. if too fast, the car will jerk about..haha..or if too slow also it will jerk about.

To CHANGE LANE, have to check front mirror, blind spot, signal, maintain speed, then turn abit of steering wheel, and only can filter 1 lane at a time.

then to STOP. wah..another thing. have to check mirror behind, check blind spot, signal left, go to left lane, gently brake, then step clutch all the way, and use brake to stop really gently.

to U TURN, have to first coordinate the legs. engage gear 1, release clutch slowly, when the car moves, then can turn steering wheel, all the way! then when reaching the end, faster turun back, and step accelerator to zoom off. haha.

to 3 POINT TURN, have to stop as near the curb as possible, so have space, signal right then using the clutch to accelerate, move the car and immediately turn all the way right.and step the clutch and turn all the way to straight. all that in 2 seconds.
then.....change to reverse gear. and release the clutch abit till it moves, then quickly turn the wheel all the way left. and then step on the clutch and turn the wheel all the way back to straigh, then brake. wah..all that in another 2 seconds. *stress*..haha..
then change to gear 1, signal right, and when move, turn all the way right. and when the car is going on the same line as the road, quickly turn straight. then move off. its alot alot of actions.

and of cos, before driving, have to check mirrors, left right centre, check seatbelt, headlight, other cars, and then start engine.

i always tought driving was so easy. but after today's lesson, there's actually much more to learn. haha..

more lessons soon, and i'm going to pass my theory test coming soon. confirm i will pass it. make sure i will pass, then can learn more practical already. haha

Went to YIMB to visit again, didn't teach anything, just chatted with some guys, like Irwan, Wanrong, Liang, Edmund, Hermione, Yunpeng and few more. So it turned out to be more like a social visit.

later, went to westmall to watch Transperter 2. Me, Kaikeng, Rizuan, Minmin, and the 2 percussion malay gals..i'm so sorry..i forgot ur names..tell me again. i hate to forget ppl's names.

Well, Transporter was a cool show. the car. and stunts. i like the way the lamborghini chased the airplane on the runway.though the end of that scene wasnt nice. they should have given that car to me instead. hahaa.
i had duck rice n sobe in the theatre. yum yum.
anyways. the movie ended.

we walked around. and played wif mp3 n speakeres at harvey norman.

Then i had to go. Dad was going off to thailand for a week the next day, so we were going to have dinner as a family before that.
Merchant court Swissotel was the place. Buffet dinner! great food, haha. here are some pics.

Stayed home to read. Bible, driving theory.
i didn't spend enough time reading during the hols. time to catch up. still have a cupboard of books to finish.
Body was aching anyway, after the sentosa weekend

Tuesday

Spent pretty much of the day at home too.
In the evening went with daniel and kaikeng to clark quay. walked all the way to esplanade. we each had a camera phone, and i brought an extra camera.
We behaved like tourists.

okay..i woke up, packed a little, got changed, and spend abit longer than usual in the washroom. thats y i was late meetin min n far.. anyways... adventures.. here are the pics...

Starting the day at 930, finally waking up 1hr after the alarm clock was set to ring. i went of to the coffeeshop to meet edmund then to band. we "maced" around in the field for the first 1hr which allowed me to realise that with lesser strength than previously, i could throw even highier, i must have grown stronger playing drums. haha. anyway, it wasn't too fruitful, So i left to achieve my original purpose. to teach the percussions. and thru that I also achieved another goal. to get to know more people in the band. especially the younger ones. Oh man, i need to work harder at remembering names. haha. but I love them already. i'll be back to know them more soon maybe. before my term starts again in another week's time.

Later at 1plus, ken picked me up in a cab to Bukit Batok driving school. there he registered his basic theory test, and i got my provisional DRIVING LICENSE done up!! haha! now i can drive officially!! but not without a L plate and a instructor beside... haha

Then we took a bus down to westmall. after a quick bite, we perched ourselves at the second floor at a railing to film down the 3rd movement Jubilation which started at 4. Min, kk, rachel jumped my back form behind near the end of the whole performance. that's all they got to see. haha. and daniel came only when we were leaving for arcade. well. the only picture taken all thru that event was this.

Okay. Me n Ken took a lift later, that went underground first. and on the way up,at 1st floor, there was daniel and minmin who were chasing after us. they found us! Clever. anyways. Min wore my Jacket over her uniform into the arcade. there we had 1 game of Daytona2. Ken 1st. Minmin 2nd. David 3rd. Daniel 4th. alright. its just for the record so minmin will be happy she beat 2 guys.

From there we departed and dispersed. I headed to church for bible study which started 30mins later. of cos, i rushed down at half strength, but managed to reach 2mins b4 "starting time" which was postponed.while readin a magazine, there was this really interesting advert wif a curved piano.

and i still had time to go down to cold storage, purchase a 1litre sobe soya milk, get lost inside coldstorage, find my way to the cashier, and walk back. it was healthy btw. it had brown rice inside, and was only $1.60. so much cheaper than other drinks elsewhere.
BS was wonderful. I was fallin asleep but managed to listen all i could, and stay awake. From that time, everything I did became exceptionally slow. i went into the toilet after bible study. i was alone. and i took my own sweet time. took aobut 20 or 25 mins? and i also took pics in and out the toilet. for i dunno what reason.well, i realised that those things we see on the ceiling, looking like white hills, are actually handphone reception thinggies.

inside the toilet however, there was only M1 n Starhub. Singtel's was nowhere to be found. so i went outside to check. yeah..there it is. outside. and interestingly, there was also another M1 n Starhub one. so its like, when u're talkin on da fone walkin into the toilet, u get singnal all the way thru the door, till ur cubicle, and out again, without getting cut off. Well, I, in my daze of tiredness, decided signs around looked cool. to i started takin pics with my hp cam.

Then i was just about to take picture of the handphone reception thing outside the toilet when i heard footsteps! so i quickly kept my hp and act walking normally. and i couldnt just stand at the toilet corridor. so i just walked to the lift direction and met the lady whose footsteps i heard earlier. then i waited for the lift. while i was standing there waiting, i realised i was actually standing too close to her. so i quickly backed away. thankfully she did not notice. then lookin thru the glass doors, i saw pastor giving bible study inside the room. then our eyes met, and we waved. and in the lift, i duno y, but i like no smoking signs. haha..so at that moment, i took out my phone to act smsing but i took picture of the sign. haha.

Btw. i was like walking at strolling speed, and i'd just stop at times for no reason. stare, then walk on again. haha. so i went thru the whelchair door which i didn't need to push open, but just press the button. outside i saw the fountain lighted up! with some kinda music! so i probably got excited and wanted to take pictures. so i attempted many times to cross over to the centre. there was this circle where cars din bother bout whether u were crossing. so after many aborted attempts, i finally made a dash for it! and made it! it was an achievement considering the state i was in...few times i nearly wanted to dash but a car came up suddenly and really fast, or traffic started comin again. then, there in the middle area, i leaned against the railing and realised it was nothing really nice to look at. just lighted water and some boom boom boom music which i wasnt clear and i wasn't interested in. so i took my picture, what i set out to achieve.

after that, i had no reason to stay there anymore. i wanted to go. so i turned around, and once again was faced woth the circle. but this time, it was the other way round. seeing cars comin was much harder. i missed a shot. then got fedup. the next chance i could, i just dashed. and a car came up just as i was about to reach. phew. man, the car was fast, and it was a 3 lane circle!! almost like dashing across a 3lane expressway.

thereafter i entered suntec again thru the duck tours there. haha..come to think of it...haha..i like..walked somewhere...stopped. turned around, walked back..then wondered why i did that, and walked back. haha..then iinside, i walked towards the way back into the mall, having in mind to browse the shops. when i saw the escalator, i realised i din want to go on anymore, so i turned around n walked back towards mrt. there was when i only window browsed.

and i think i nearly smashed the citylink door when i opened it too hard, it went *cock* very loudly. going on, it was in citylink that i only started to go into shops. intersting shops they have there. and its not too bad to go shopping alone really. u get to go where u want, see what u want, and take how much time u want. just nobody to chat with. which i wasnt interested in due to the already lack of energy. BTW...there i saw really nice NO SMOKING signs. but i din dare take. cos if i stopped to take pic, ppl would look. so i waited. and when i finally found one in a dark place to take, which was the last before reaching the mrt, i realised that it was scratched and vandalised. :(. so i din take in the end.
and citylink has nice lights. somewhere along the way.

i took my time to stroll thru the gates. it was gettin late n not alot of ppl were there. and lo and behold! i got fascinated with the super long escalators! aactually was some advertisement i wanted to photograph but i decided not. so using the camera which was ready, i snapped the escalators. which in the pic dun look long at all.

inside, i went all theway to the front to queue, hoping that i'd get seats there. and i saw this guy come and squatted there. in the almost empty hallway. and i took 2 unccessful pictures secretly, that i deleted cos it took memory. and also a loving couple i took, but wasnt nice n i deleted. and had no more chance to take as the train had arrived. i got my seat! haha.

reaching Jurong east I suddenly remembered that i needed to sms beeleng she could come my house already. cos i was already so near home.

but when i reached bukit batok, i walked right thru harveynorman tent to see my school friend who was workin there n was bz. so i walked on. inside westmall was the art things from Yusof ishak on display. and i walked thru all of them to see everything that was on display. strolling thru slowly.
after finishin all of em, i went down escalators to b1. walked, stopped, around, wanting to buy a drink cos i badly needed to hydrate. so i walked in to the cookie store area, saw the liang cha shop where the aunty asked me if i wanted to buy and i declined.I wanted to buy bubble tea cos it was colder, but it was at the interchange! so ok, i turned around, and went up the escalator. halfway up, i thought to myself. to quench thirst. drink liang cha? duh! then i recalled i saw a fridge behind. means there was cold liang cha! i din want earlier cos i tot all was warm. ya..so after reaching 1st floor, i took the escalator down again. ppl must think i'm crazy..playin wif escalator. den i went back to the aunty whose offer i declined earlier, and she nearly got the wrong tea for me, think i spoke not too clear. but i shouted just in time so she could get my liang cha instead. from the fridge..yumm..it quenched my thirst and was nice to drink. and i strolled home. all the time forgetting that beeleng was coming. Thank God beeleng came awhile after i reached home.
She was in a rush, tired, and played guitar abit then left. n rushed off for church.
u think thats all for the night and i could go slp? nae. i had to sms all my w330 pals details till 1am plus, pack my bag wwith things i think will help others in case they forgot to bring. well, bringin a roller bag..it was super heavy. and i din go overnight PM cos my brain was kaboom already. and i slept finally around 1plus am. the ppl replied my sms but i din bother to see. i covered my ears when an sms came. and soon i was dazing around in dreamland......zzzzz....

*to those who followed the story till hear! congrats! u're either really interested in this day of mine, bored, or really perservering till the end.
I wanted to write it all down cos it was a real cool day. cool experience being so weird n still able to go thru my day well, and serving as a record for myself. of cos, entertaining u if u wanna be entertained by it. my next post will be of sentosa outing. thats all for now..i'm gettin the zzz thing again..haha...Thanks for reading. hope u enjoyed it with all the pics. haha. the day was just to fascinating that i had to type it down.i took 1hr 48mins to finish this post.
