before i sleep! i must blog this.

Today i went with a friend to purchase a guitar. one that truely is remarkable. so is the price. but we managed an almost 1.9k discount bargain because it was second hand.

So that sparked off my curiousity about my own taylor guitar, and i started to investigate. after many hours, I finally found out the exact date my guitar was crafted. so now i can properly celebrate it's birthday. haha. okay. it was the 7th guitar made on 21 Feb 1996.

so it's gonna be 12 yrs old in 8 days time! and 7 is such a perfect number! haha.

also, it has a Sitka Spruce top, and Mahogany Side and back.

It's a 1996 Taylor 410! or in present terms, a Taylor 510 without the CE. haha.

But i read that back then it was only less than USD 1000, but that was in 1992. so with inflation today, the price should roughly be the same as it is now in the 510 model.

But it's just an estimate. the current selling price on the net is around USD1000, so about SGD 1.4k. hmm. not too bad, i bought it for SGD 1.2k at least 5 years ago.

so goodnight. and it's 5.20am!!!!
