Volatile Emotions. A sea of uncertainty. A race to keep the boat on course, Correcting after each unexpected change of weather or current. Am I ready? should I have even started on this voyage? Maybe I wasn't ready for this challenge. But there's no turning back now, We will sail the journey with Jesus. Accepting that storms and unexpected changes are all part of the journey of life. What will keep us going is the VISION of the DESTINATION. That is the will to keep us afloat, keep us constantly struggling to point the right direction. We will need all 3, Faith, Hope, and Love for this Journey, incredible amounts of them. And also help from above. What a race, what a challenge, but we will go through victorious!
Slow and steady wins this race. Generous givers are needed, and so are secure people, people who are preeeety secure.
I googled and found this article online. Its really encouraging.
Hebrews 13:6 - So we say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?"
To have security means to have a firm foundation in the Lord. A strong foundation brings perfect security. Security comes with perfect peace and the protection of the Lord. Man will always be there to bring you down and make you feel insecure, but remember who you are in the Lord. The enemy will always be at your doorstep. He is always trying to steal, kill and destroy the ministry that the Lord has called you to, but remember who you are in the Lord. You are a child of the living God. You are an heir with Christ.
A little Indian boy had to stay away from his parents for one night. It was a very hard thing for his father to do, but with the Indian customs, he also had to give his son the chance to enter into manhood. The little boy was terrified, but did as he was told. He spent the entire night alone in the woods. Many times, he was afraid because of all the noises he heard through the night. What this boy did not know was that his father was standing not too far away from him behind a tree. His father watched over him and never took his eyes off his son.
How often do we forget that the Lord's eyes are on us. When we feel or think that we are alone, think again. When we are in the ditch and no-one is there to take us out, think again. When the enemy comes to you at your weakest, look unto the Father who is also standing not too far away from you. Find your comfort in Jesus who will be your security.
Count it as pure joy to know that no matter what comes your way today, your security is in the Lord. Security in the Lord is knowing that you completely trust in the Lord and that He will work all things out according to His will for your life.
You won! 1:49 PM
