Its 3am. and i'm online. yes. what am I doing? i have a class at 9 later! I really dont know. i'm tired. and i'm sleepy. but theres something that not directly on my mind. just that, yea. i'm thinking about it. well well. i really don't know.
I'm not depressed. neither am i sad. but i just don't seem fulfilled i think. its like something's missing. something even music cannot fulfill.
Btw, something interesting. my dad just threw me a pillow. pretty new. and i realised it has some charcoal bits inside i think. must be an expensive pillow that he doesnt like. haha. I get all the good sleeping stuff somehow. a down bolster, another special foam pillow, supposedly for backaches, and 1 other i think normal pillows. that makes 4 in total! haha. i can put my head on my bolster, and still have 1 pillow for each of my limbs! sleeping wide open. hahah.
I just chatted with jon. he's 17. help me remember that. hahaha. love him man. we should chill out more. And deshun. He's supposed to be my "wife". but i think now he seems more like a father. really. with all those sec1 kids he's looking after now. haha. and he showed me John William playing the guitar. incredible!! he plays like nothing! i only knew him in the past as the movis soundtrack composer. and i was confused when i found a pic of him with a classical gutiar on the net. but well, that's him! haha.
And i checked out travis barker on youtube. i found out that he just recorded the drums for avril lavigne's latest album! cool fella. he goes around wearing only his skin and tattoos, even in a recording studio. haha. and you should check out his ride! fully customised! the best of different caddilac's all put into one. haha.
you know, he even has his own signature sticks. but nae, it's just not me. haha. i prefer the feel steve smith sticks. but they're bit expensive for now. so i'm using zildjian sticks at about $10 less per pair at least. haha
Stany came over to my place today to set up the test paper. and we had fun jamming. i digged out my electric guitars and i realised that one of them which my uncle passed to me was an Epiphone! it has this serial number thing behind, and works great! only needs maybe a pickup change. but it was fun. i remember why i didn't play it in the past was because i wasn't that good at tuning, and this guitar was an incredible hassle at tuning. but now, i can tell the pitch. so it's much easier. haha. time to pick up more skills. i never knew i had such a good electric guitar. haha. and i do know i have an excellent acoustic guitar of course. my Taylor.
And oh, that new cymbal? its incredible!! the guy working at yamaha was supposed to polish it up for me before handing it to me, because i told him so, all the fingerprints from the people at the shop. and so he did. slapped some polishind liquid on, wiped around, and made the cymbal black. just like the way metal polish works. and then, left the black there. how cool. Boy was it hard to remove when i got home. the cloth turned black, and i found the easiest way was to use my dove body soap, and water! and it turned as good as new. in fact it was supposed to be new right. haha. but well, it sounds incredible! the sound just changed. like the overall set of the drums. haha. Thanks mom and dad.
Talking about my piano, I like the sound so much, that i wouldn't exchange it for a grand i think. i've not heard a grand at yamaha (the only place i have access to a grand) that i feel surpasses the sound of my William Tell piano. although made in China, with some manufacturer defect, still sounds incredible! I really need to take time and pour skills into my music. haha. so much i have here, so much potential. And you know what, the piano costs only $5700! to fond one that sounds like this, it'd probably be 9-12K! yup. so why not lets take the time to list the musical instruments i have at home now.
