Last few days were fun. I played guitar for my cell meeting. It was the first time in many months since I last played for cell, and been months since I last played my guitar. So my fingertips were soft, and they hurt. Partly also because I switched from my previous medium strings to heavy strings. I somehow last minute, ended up playing for the rest of the meeting. It was rather intese, until sweat beads formed at the top side of my fingertips. I never knew there were pores there. haha. And my guitar pick got worn out, and came close to snapping.
Then we went for service, which was really cool. About the cultural mandate. Haha. And we sang this old song that I like very much. Can't seem to recall the lyrics. haha
Then I went to play for chinese service. It was by far, the most satisfying session since I started playing there. I think it was because of the band and singers. The flow was just awesome! Totally enjoyed it.
Then flew to expo for my service. Which was once again superb. Went out with Ken, and my car thermometer read 36degrees. insane! my arm was hurting from the sun rays while inside the car with aircon at full blast, and it took 20mins or so to cool the car.
Played pool, and won Ken. Dunno why, but he was missing alot of his shots. Then just when I arrived home, I got an sms from cindy, asking to go to bugis with she n LP. Which I did, and bought a cool shirt. LP finally arrived when the shops closed.
And cindy had to reach home by 11, and so we planned an impromtu chillout at her place. The gals ran into cold storage and bought food in 10mins in a last minute stop by. And so it was fun. Cindy cooked Japanese Curry for me!! Thanks Cindy, It was Really Really nice! and of course, I shared with the rest. LP cooked spaghetti and mashed potatoes for us all in the morning, which was also really nice. See all the hidden talents emerging. haha.
Then they went to botanical gardens in the afternoon to draw swans? haha.
I had my beauty sleep in a nice aircon room, with my very own bed and blanket. muahaha. Apparently my music lesson was postponed.
Then I went with my sister out to shop. First to bp plaza. Then to PS, which was rather fruitful. And talking about KFC. Never before have i smelt such a good smell. It smelt like the salty gravy on the mashed potatoes. but I think it really is from the new japanese chicken. Salty taste. Even till now the smell of it's still on my fingers. haha. yummy!
And I have a project to complete by tomorrow. actually its overdue. ah. it'll be fine.
