Its late, and I'm tired. Just wanna write a simple post before I sleep.
God's been speaking to me about things recently. Through friends, church, and movies. The last time I watched spiderman 2, God spoke to me through the movie too. It's interesting that He also did speak to me this time once again.
God's been reminding me of how I must always stand for the truth, and stand by the biblical principles and values despite the situation.
I know it wasn't by coincidence that i stayed at raffles hotel on that particular day, and happened to turn on the tv at that particular time, which had that particular channel that would never be aired on Singapore TV. It was on Martin Luther's story.
So many distractions in the physical world around, distracting me from the call of God and destiny for my life. I was a different person sometime ago, but it is the Spirit of God that changes people instantly.
I will lay down my life for the truth. I'm willing to die for the truth. But I'm not a fanatic that will kill others. I won't die that easily either. Only God decides when I live and when I die. I don't agree that people who give their lives to Jesus and live by biblical principles are weak and losers in the world. In fact, they are the ones who are the real strong ones in the end. People might have alot to show while they live day by day, but it will all fall to dust someday.
It is not worth it to lie now and get your way. You might earn that extra cash, status, reputation or honor. But From the view of evernity, you're the ultimate loser. It's not worth it to live by lose principles and constantly bend and break the rules, when eternity is always what counts in the end. It's not wise to accept a belief that seems like the easier way out when what really counts is ETERNITY!!!
Moral of the paragraph, Don't be so short sighted.
Live for eternity.

I was also illuminated by the Holy Spirit about certain things regarding who I spend my time with, and things that I do. I need to spend my time with people who are living and running their destiny for Jesus. They must be people with similar passion and fire in running the race. I learnt not to listen to someone just because of a title, past title, or has money. Men will look to these people, but I need to learn from God, and look at the inward of the person. By inward I mean character and who the person really is.
3 G's that Satan uses against people. It's the same as the 3 things Jesus was tempted in the wilderness.
Gold
The greed and love of money changes people, and makes them horrible.
This is similar to when Satan asked Jesus to bow to him and he would give Jesus the whole world, and all the wealth.
Glory
For the sake of fame, and recognition, people literally kill.
This is the part where satan asked Jesus to jump from the top of the temple. If Jesus did and as the bible promised that He would not be injured, he would gain instant fame. The area around the temple was like the city centre, and the most crowded place in town.
Girls
This was probably written for guys. But mainly it means fleshly desires.
This is the part where satan asked Jesus to turn stone into bread because Jesus was hungry.
So if Jesus had loved the wealth, wanted the fame, and wanted immediate gratification for his flesh, and succummbed to them, He would have ruined his ministry, purpose, calling and destiny for his life.
But the bible says that Jesus came to put right that which was done wrong by the first Adam. By which also represents all humans. So Jesus is our perfect example of a perfect man.
He decided not to give in to these pleasures because of 1 reason, He loved us, and wanted our freedom from the Devil's hands.
Jesus is perfect. The only perfet man in the whole world and history of mankind. Girls, if you're tired of looking for the best guy who always ends up cheating and disappointing you, look for Jesus. Nobody's perfect, except Him. And oh, His love for you will make you overwhealmed and maybe faint because it's just so beautiful.
