I am convinced.. that living for Christ is really very much to do with 2 very basic things. Reading the Word of God daily, getting both the Logos and the Rhema of the Word of God speak into my heart. And prayer. Prayer that connects to God, that charges up my spirit, that sharpens my senses, that changes lives, sets my destiny and changes nations.

I remember what pastor used to tell us often. Word and no Spirit you'll dry up. Spirit and no Word you'll blow up. But with the spirit and the Word you'll grow up.
And the way to connect with the Spirit of God is to pray. Its through praying that you minds are sharpened, and enlarged. Dreams an visions, wisdom and understanding, and becoming a pure channel through which God's love can flow through to touch other's lives.

I find it really intersting. When I've lost the fire, i just need to take up the bible to read. and once i start, it continues to burn, and i'd finish about 2 chapters and get so stirred up in my Spirit to want to seek God again. Don't ever despise the Word of God.
