well..today i went for my first drumset lesson..learnt quite abit, got inspired by my teacher to keep on pursuing. practicing. was great! his Baby is cute! haha

soon after that, my dad gave me a call. said that there was a electric bass guitar for sale. so i went down. checked it out. it was in pretty good condition.. so its my first bass guitar.

and my dad told me, he had just bought another ovation guitar earlier. from the same shop. at a great bargain. haha..it was good brand, make, sound yet to be seasoned. but really great already.

well, my dad came across this shop cos he was waitin for my bro as was having violin lessons around that area.

then later at beautyworld. i went into the guitar shop. had a good talk with the store keeper. friendly guy. u can Buy your guitars from him. i tested the guitars there. $75 is the cheapest. and boy i tell u, the look is nice, and the sound is great. its called luthier guitar. of cos, the upper range ones are even better. but its 1k plus. haha...

so upon reaching home, cleaning up was the first thing to do..2 new guitars...u can't imagine how much yuck the bass guitarist left on the guitar...
all over the fingerboard(fretboard) was those black dirt u get when u rub your skin when u're feelin sticky..man..my thumb got sore even after using special chemicals to clean.
further more. all over the lighter coloured areas of the guitar was red stains..like those kinda stains u get on your fingers when u handle too many "angpow" paper.. or those red newyear papers..its like smudged onto the guitar!.. and that had to use more chemical to clean off.
some still remain, but i'm pretty pleased with its condition now. shiny, not so red, cleaned. haha

and then the ovation. that had old strings on. it seemed like the guy who bought never really used much. the strings were already getting dark. so that had a new change. and its looking great now.

thinking of it..really, not to haolian..but it surprises me.. i actually have 9 guitars at home now. haha..i used to have 7, which i thought it was shocking enough.
