my adventure for today.
i went home after school..
by the time i left home, i had only 20 mins or so left to fly to the place i'm meeting my instructor.
i went to the bus stop..and my..the bus sure took long. but i managed to reach on time! exactly 1 min late. but my instructor, who was Peter for the day..was even later..man..
well, i got to meet Daniel.
but he was with another student.
i later found out that he had 15 instructors under him. he's the boss.
and he has like 8 cars?
most are old honda's. bout 3 or 4 yrs old.
and Peter told me he's guna change all of them to new ones.haha.
pro ah.
okay...so i got to shake his hand..
and then finally came my instructor..
the car i drove was back honda city.
only 3 days new..haha..cool..
get to drive brand new car even before getting my license.
Peter looked pretty old. bout 60 or 70 plus i think.
his skin looked so dried up, frail, like those really old folks.
maybe he's much younger. but cos he smokes. yuck.
haha
okay. its guna be abit long. but here's the account..
he drove to the same place i had my first practical lesson.
registered me into the book.
gave me a little intro on the car.
and wow. he taught me some things that i had on my mind since i was studying the theory books, and my first instructor didn't teach.
so straight away. he became a good instructor to me.
and i called Daniel and he assured me the instructors are good..1 2 times sure pass already.
haha...i agree..
well..i did some gear changing, and forward and reverse..
and wow..this clutch was VERY VERY friendly..VERY...
is was gentle on the car, gave me real good control.
unlike the first car.
this lesson i only stalled 3 times in all. 3 times!!!
1.5hrs.. 3 times..
the previous car..man...
1.5 hrs..i think 15 times...terrible...
trust me..it is the car..
next time learn driving, according to my dad, Honda cars have the smoothest engines, and are easiest to drive...Toyota ranks first in the market, but honda engines are still better, more refined.
and i believe. haha..
i've always been a fan of honda.
and it hasn't let me down.
so thats for the stalling part.
i went on to do U-turn.
this guy's steering method was so much easier.
haha...the previous method, i always got my hands in a mess.
so with that, i made a u-turn with no problem.
several times.
went on to changin gears..
highiest was 4..
5th i'd have to go on an expressway. which i didn't
did some parking stuff..
i did make the car jerk few times.. haha..
u know..like the bull riding kinda jerk..
and i realised...whenever the instructor wanted to do something that would take up time, he would say."u read the book..." then he'd go do his thing..and when he was back, he'd say.."so u learn that thing..that thing..okay..okay ah..okay.." *like so fake* as if i also dunno how to bullshit. haha... and of cos. the book i din learn much..or in fact nothing. i just merely flipped it around. just 1 or 2 pages and he'd be back.
yah..he said..okay..u stop here...
i high tide *means need to pee*
and he gave me the book as usual..
he left with a cigarette between his fingers...
i saw okay... then he went to smoke real fast..
(taken when he went to smoke..)

came back thinking that i din't see, he quickly threw the smoldering butt into the drain forgetting to stub it out..
i saw the butt lying there with smoke rising out of the drain....haha
and he came in the car..
he said. "aiyah. there got so many ppl lah *there was a group of foreign workers sitting at a worksite entrance nearby*...i see also dun dare..."
*i bet he purposely asked me to sop there so he had an excuse*
well..so we drove...
he said.go straight..
and straight was the junction and main road!
i asked him..go there ah?
he said..in a weak, grandfatherly, relaxed tone.."ah..ah.."
okay..good..so i get to go with real traffic.. terriffic..
waited for the lights to change...
i made a start without killing the engine! haha. main road somemore..
then we went straight. there were ppl crossing the road, all that stuff..so i had to be careful..
(here. he went toilet. the person crossing the road must have been thinking..this guy suaku. must be first lesson. still take picture. - he really was looking at me.)

but one thing i like bout him. he was assuring. he let me do the driving. and i gained the confidence there..
(my previous one kept on grabbing my stearing, no room for error, got frustrated when my engine died...blah..haha)
and guess what..he said...ok..u stop here..
i was like..okay....
i stopped..hazzard lights on..
then i realised..
across the road on the other side, was..a coffeeshop..
once again, he gave me the book.
he said.."u wait here ok..i go there."
there he went..
now was my chance..
the smell of smoke was already by now all over the car..
i blasted the aircon controls, opened all the windows...
still..it became worse..
the temple nearby gave more smoke..
too bad..
then i later drove back from there, to somewhere near my home.
first time driving thru a carpark.
the carpark that my dad always drove thru.
it was like a dream come thru...
haha...
wow..i realised i typed so much..
well..its up to u to read...
overall, the experience was rewarding.
thats y its up here.
later same time, driving again.
lesson 2.
more for later..
i have class 8am later..and i'm still awake..okay..bye.
You won! 2:30 AM
