I've seen this list somewhere around my house a long time ago. today, my dad suddenly took it out from nowhere and said.."David, Type this for me..." well. so i did.
And as i was doing so, i started to learn some new things, and also started to remember how proud people are always disliked. Well...why? God dislikes them too, and we're made in His image.
"God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble." James 4:6
Then i checked myself. Oh yeah, I've improved abit over the years, but theres still more to go for me. i cannot deny that.
And this post, for u guys out there, I hope u'll read thru this and check yourself too, before others have to do this check for you.
And it pays to be humble. Why?
"Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up." James 4:10
"A man's pride will bring him low, But the humble in spirit will retain honor." Proverbs 29:23
"When pride comes, then comes shame; But with the humble is wisdom." Proverbs 11:2
"Surely He scorns the scornful, But gives grace to the humble." Proverbs 3:34
and many more... go here to see the rest...
HumbleHope u'll learn something from this Checklist! The next time i meet u, we'll all be much better individuals!!
